Del City Voting Today (Jul 12, 2011)

Voters in Del City are going to polls today to decide on a bond issue. The proposal would pay for new outdoor storm sirens and expand the community’s fleet of firefighting vehicles.

The bond would also pay to reduce what the city calls major drainage problems in several areas, including Cherry Creek in the Hartsdel addition and the Epperly Heights area. Polls are open until 7 p.m.
