DHS Supervisor Calls Firing "Absurd" (Sep 16, 2011)
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma DHS supervisor calls accusations of misconduct and dishonesty "absurd" and she'll appeal her firing. The agency says Jennifer Shawn committed dozens of violations in the case of a five-year-old girl who died after being placed in her father's custody. He's now accused of killing the child.
