Focus on the Flu (Oct 17, 2011)

On this episode of Oklahoma Voices, Dr. Dale G. Claflin, medical director of the Oklahoma City-County Health Department, discusses the flu and the importance of receiving this annual immunization.

Last week the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the initial “FluView” report for the current flu season.

The CDC also says there should be lots of vaccine available, because the supply is projected to set a U.S. record.
