Mock Election Picking Oklahoma's "Best" (Jan 09, 2012)
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Mock elections are being held across Oklahoma this week as state officials test new voting machines. The elections begin today and continue through Thursday in each of Oklahoma's 77 counties.
On the ballot are selections including Oklahoma's best sports team, best treat and entertainers.
The new voting machines replace older optical scanning units that outlived their expected lives.
