Lawmaker Attempting to Bring "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" to State (Jan 10, 2012)
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A Republican lawmaker from Oklahoma City has filed legislation in the state House that would make it illegal for gays and lesbians to openly serve in the Oklahoma National Guard. Representative Mike Reynolds' legislation would apply the standards of the military's former "don't ask, don't tell" policy to the state guard.
