“When it comes to roots music, John Paul Keith is no artificial substitute. He, along with drummer John Argroves, bassist Mark Stuart, and keyboardist Al Gamble are the real deal, serving as both aficionados of the sounds of America’s musical past and torch bearers of the traditions which inform such sounds. Together JPK and the One Four Fives (as the band is known) illustrate this medley of southern musical influences and sounds on the CD The Man That Time Forgot… a disc we debuted just last weekend in anticipation of an April 6th concert in OKC.
