W'ford Search Leads to OK County Murder Arrest (Nov 21, 2012)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Investigators say the search for suspects in the disappearance of a Weatherford girl has led to the arrests of two people in the death of an Oklahoma City man.

A spokesman for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, Mark Woodward, says Curtis Southerland and Gilberto Paz were arrested Wednesday on murder complaints in the September shooting death of Jonathon Kyle Patton.

Woodward says OBN's Human Trafficking Unit has been in Weatherford for the past several weeks investigating the Oct. 15 disappearance of Jaray Mickell Wilson. Woodward says the investigation into Wilson's disappearance brought forth information about Patton's death.

Patton was found shot to death Sept. 10 in far southeast Oklahoma County. Authorities have not said whether his death could be connected to Wilson's disappearance.

Authorities continue to search for Wilson.
