Bird Gets Help from Grant (Nov 29, 2012)
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A $90,000 grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation will be used to help northwestern Oklahoma farmers and ranchers protect the habitat of the lesser prairie chicken. Officials at the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts say the funding will help provide new technical assistance to landowners.
