Woman Steals Boy's Money for Cigarettes (Dec 02, 2012)
CACHE, Okla. (AP) — A Cache woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing $50 won by a 10-year-old boy in a school art contest. Forty-three-year-old Carolyn Beeson is charged with petit larceny for allegedly taking the $50 bill from the child on Thursday and using the money to buy cigarettes. Online jail records show Beeson was arrested Friday and was being held in the Comanche County jail yesterday.
