Joe Wertz looks through the lens of a local artist/photographer (Aug 14, 2008)
You might call Lori Oden's work "old school." She didn’t start as an artist, or even a photographer. Oden was a historian and art researcher who curated Oklahoma City’s International Photography Hall of Fame. This is where she became fascinated with photographic methods from an earlier time. Eventually, she began to create her own works of art. The Oklahoma Gazette's Joe Wertz focuses on Oden's exhibition“Optics and Alchemy” on display through September 7 inside the North Gallery of the Oklahoma State Capitol.
