This week the Oklahoma Gazette’s Joe Wertz tells about the film screening of Splinter. Filmed in Oklahoma, Splinter is a suspensful, and horrific tale of a couple's romantic "getaway-gone-bad". Besieged in an old gas station by an insatiable parasite that absorbs the corpses of its victims, the protagonists are eventually forced to confront the monster. A screening of the film will be offered tonight and over the weekend at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Joe offers the 'prickly' details...
