Coheed and Cambria is a progressive-meets-metal rock band known for concept albums that reveal a science fiction storyline called "The Amory Wars", a series of story mediums written by lead singer Claudio Sanchez. The band has released five studio albums, two live albums, and several special-edition releases. Their latest release, Year of the Black Rainbow, is actually the prequel to a conceptual epic that began - in earnest - with The Second Stage Turbine Blade, the band's first full-length studio album. The Oklahoma Gazette's Arts & Entertainment Editor, Joe Wertz, tells us more about the group and their scheduled performance this Saturday at the Diamond Ballroom.
